Agency Manager

Beverly has been with us since 1999 and is The Registered Manager. She has a background in nursing/social care and worked in a number of small agencies as well as big agency care companies. She drives and supports the team, is instrumental in the processes and policies that Community Caring adhere to and is assisted by a senior care coordinator.

Senior Coordinator

Donna has also worked for Community Caring for a long time and has been with us for more than 12 years. She has a background in care and moved into the senior coordinator role after many years working in the community. Donna is always willing to learn and deals directly with the staff and clients when required.

Care Coordinator

Carol is part of the domiciliary team and has been with the company since 2007. She heads the Birkenhead and South Wirral area and she is also responsible for looking after The Supported Living House that we are commissioned to operate. She is very experienced, hands on, and more than capable of effectively running her team, developing and building her geographical area.

Care Coordinator

Jennie first started working with Community Caring in 2010, and joined as a carer. Jennie then moved into Senior Care and is now a care coordinator for our reablement services team. Jennie is very experienced, skilled and supports the reablement team which is a fast turnover service, dealing with both high demand and fast response referrals and rostering.

Care Coordinator

Charlotte joined our team from another provider in 2015, she is a very experienced care coordinator who is experienced in both domiciliary care and reablement. Currently, she is one of two care coordinators who lead and operate the reablement service rostering staff. Charlotte is in charge of accepting all referrals and the overall operations of reablement, which is a busy service with fast turnaround.

Admin & Recruitment

Gaynor works in an administrative position – she assists and supports with training and recruitment. Gaynor’s background has been in care services including children/young people as well as adult care. Gaynor has worked for Community Caring Ltd for many years in different roles so she is versatile and able to relate to the staff well.

Care Coordinator

Mandy joined the team in April 2017 as a senior carer for reablement and recently moved into a care coordinator role for the domiciliary care team, she is relatively new to the post but is learning in her role and is supported by her colleagues. Mandy is responsible for The West Wirral area.

Senior Carer

Kelly is also one of our senior carers, she works as a senior for the reablement team so her role includes the provision of hands on reablement care, assessments, review of care provision, feedback, supporting the team with referrals, rostering and on call/out of hours service.

Senior Carer

Karen has been a senior carer for Community caring Ltd for many years and has a vast background in social care. She provides care provision within the community and also is responsible for carrying out assessments, care planning, care reviews, as well as part of the on-call/out of hours senior team.

Care Coordinator

Arlene is a domiciliary coordinator and joined the team in January 2017 from a residential background.  She joined as a senior carer, but took to the role, and quickly moved into a coordinator role – Arlene manages part of West Wirral team and is supported by a senior carer.

Senior Carer

Carli is a Senior Carer who along with delivering care provision also assists with carrying out client assessments, care planning, review of care, on-call/out of hours service for Community Caring. Carli is a part of a senior care team and operates in West Wirral supporting the care coordination team there.

Senior Carer

Jamie Lee is also one of the senior care team. She has joined recently but has settled well into the team. Jamie Lee has a long background in care including in residential settings, autistic services and social care.

Recruitment

There is strong demand for high quality care, and we are always looking for friendly, considerate and understanding people to join our team of professionals. Even if you are new and inexperienced – so long as you have the right personality and demeanour, we will give you the necessary training. The recruitment process is ongoing and the initial stages encompass vetting and referencing. We will undertake Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks, referencing and monitoring.

When you pass these checks, we will provide all training and pay and support you while you gain your accredited training.

The initial induction training programme is 6 weeks in total – which consists of various training methods including classroom based, group training sessions, then moving onto shadow training and signing off period. When you become an accredited carer and have been signed off as competent, you can build and develop your training portfolio, so you can advance your skills and move into a specialisation should you wish to do so – Community Caring offer a range of training opportunities to support you to reach your full potential and advance in your position. All of our training is accredited and certificated.
